Boy, was I wrong!

Zips, buttons, and other hard materials can become uncomfortable when you’re lying on your yoga mat.

This is especially true for poses like the Savasana (corpse pose) where you lie flat on your back, or the Child’s pose where you’re lying face down.

Even more intriguingly, yoga originated in ancient India where practitioners typically wore loose, flowing garments without any hard embellishments.

This layer should still be relatively fitted to avoid getting in the way of your poses.
